Originally from rural upstate New York, I have been a practicing artist and designer for over 15 years. I studied Industrial Design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York and started my professional career in Berkeley, California. I have also lived and worked in Nashville, Tennessee, Ojai, California, and Portland, Maine, and I currently reside in Troy, NY with my wife and young son.

My career as a graphic designer has centered around digital and print design for publication, education, academic scholarship, and marketing for nonprofit organizations, universities and private schools, small businesses, and large corporations.

Alongside my corporate and digital work, I also pursue letterpress, block printing, calligraphy, and woodcarving. I find that the techniques and conceptual discipline of these handcrafts can inspire and ground my digital designs.
